John Bosman, one of the newly baptized members in the recently held baptism in the Southern Africa Ecclesiastical District, expressed how thankful he was to be called by God into the Church Of Christ. “I thank God for allowing me to understand His teachings. More than ever, I thank Him for allowing me to be baptized into the Church,” he said.
John, together with other baptismal candidates, was not able to contain his happiness and gratefulness to God as he finally received the hope of salvation through baptism on July 28, 2021.
Following health and safety protocols, they were gathered at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Nelspruit for the baptismal service officiated by the district supervising minister, Brother Sheridohn Santos.
Brother Santos taught them an inspiring biblical lesson about holding on firmly to one’s Church membership no matter what they are going through because God will help them overcome the trials.
In an interview, Brother Santos said that he was overjoyed and inspired as well whenever there are additional converts baptized into the Church Of Christ. “It is our duty to share our Christian faith as members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, and so if many people come to understand the value of the teachings of the Almighty God and if they hold tightly to the faith that was taught to them, it brings us inspiration to all the more fulfill our duties,” he said.
As a newly baptized member, Steinford Tabang Mhlongo, promised to fulfill his duty of helping in the Church’s work of propagation. “I am happy to share my faith as a member of the Church to other people, especially to my loved ones.”
On behalf of the brethren and Church officers in the Nelspruit Congregation, Brother Ronnie Ver Gamboa, resident minister, promised to God and to the Church Administration, “We will always be united with our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, in all of their campaigns, most especially in intensifying the works of propagation.” — With reports from INC News Section
