More and more people from the Philippine province of Capiz are joining the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). A number of these Capiznons received baptism on May 19, 2021 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Roxas City, Ecclesiastical District of Capiz.

Together with the brethren instrumental in their conversion, they traveled from their respective local congregations to reach the baptismal venue and receive their most awaited blessing from God.

The district supervising minister, Brother Edgardo Gonzales, officiated at the holy gathering. Before the baptismal proper, he taught the would-be members the utmost importance of joining Christ’s one true Church, exhorting them that amid any hardship they should hold firmly to the membership they were about to receive to ensure their salvation.

Reminded thus of that biblical teaching, Andrea Fabian, one of the newly baptized brethren, promised, “Now that I am a full-fledged member of the Church Of Christ, I will completely obey the commandments of our Lord God. This blessing from God is what I also want to share with my loved ones so I will continue to pray that God will also call them into the true Church.” — With reports from INC News Section
