“Iglesia Ni Cristo members have inspired others to donate blood so that more patients are catered to,” observed Dr. Carl Dustin Cruz of Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital.

This observation came after he witnessed Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members throughout the Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac united in a blood donation drive on June 12, 2021 for the benefit of the said hospital.

The charitable activity took place at the covered court of the Capas Municipal Legislative Building.

The local congregations’ resident ministers and ministerial workers led all the volunteer-donors who passed the required health screening.

One of them was Dra. Franchette Reyes, district Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) president, from the Local Congregation of Capas. “I thank the Church Administration for launching activities like this. I will continue to unite with them even if we’re in the midst of a pandemic,” she said.

Grateful for the successful outcome of the activity, Dr. Cruz added, “We thank the Iglesia Ni Cristo members and the Church Administration, for these blood donations they conduct are truly a great help to patients in need of blood.” — With reports from INC News Section
