Local congregation chroniclers in the Ecclesiastical District of New Zealand North expressed shared sentiment of upliftment of faith as a result of the special gathering they held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Auckland on May 24, 2026.
Brother Dennis Dahunan, district supervising minister, officiated at the gathering, which was also attended by their fellow Church officers gathered in the houses of worship of the Hamilton, Hastings, and Wellington local congregations connected through videostreaming.
During the study of God’s words delivered by Brother Dahunan, the Church officers drew added inspiration for them to remain faithful to the Lord and devoted to duties they received from Him.
Afterwards, Brother Demmie Garcia, a minister of the gospel, administered the oath-taking of new officers. Through this holy occasion, the officers, especially the local congregation chroniclers, reaffirmed their commitment to fulfilling their responsibilities in the Church.
“As local congregation chroniclers, it is important for us to keep track of significant events and activities in our respective congregations,” said Jenifer Luna from the Auckland Congregation. “Doing so, we help future generations appreciate the history of the Church and the blessings that God continues bestowing upon His people.”
Liezel Estorco, Hamilton Congregation head secretary, expressed her gratitude to the Church Administration for the special gathering. “This gathering strengthened my faith and inspired me to be even more devoted in fulfilling my duty,” she shared.
“The special gathering served as a reminder to the chroniclers of their duties and responsibilities and encouraged them to remain faithful in carrying out their obligations,” said Brother Biemer Arceo, district chronicler adviser. “We are thankful to the Church Administration and to the Lord God for allowing us to hold this activity that further edified the faith of the Church officers.”
