The Ecclesiastical District of Makati on April 21, 2026 held a special gathering of congregation secretaries at Pasay Congregation’s house of worship for their further upliftment. During the occasion, new secretaries of various local congregations took their oath of duty.

Brother David Retuta, the assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering. He inspired the attendees by reminding them how valuable their duties are to the Church Administration’s responsibility of watching over each Church Of Christ member. He exhorted them thus to be devoted to fulfilling their every task to be of help to the Church and glorify God Who called them into office.

“We were spiritually renewed, inspired to keep performing our best as secretaries to help the Church Administration even more,” enthused Chin-Chin Chan, Multinational Congregation chronicler and secretary.

After the Bible-based lecture, Brother Godofredo delos Reyes Jr., district Church officers overseer, administered the oath-taking of new secretaries.

“It’s truly a great feeling to be remembered by the Church Administration and be led in an uplifting gathering,” expressed Marlene Cesar of the UP 1 Congregation. “No matter the challenges in performing our God-given duties, we’ll keep on going for the welfare of the brethren, the benefit of the Church, and above all, to ensure even more receiving salvation on Judgment Day.” — With assistance from Moises Osorio
