The Ecclesiastical District of Southeastern Africa has grown with the establishment of the Local Congregation of Kasangula, Zambia. With the approval from the Church Administration, its inaugural worship service was held on September 7, 2024, at their place of worship along Kasangula Road, Mandevu, Lusaka, Zambia.

Brother Jedernil Hidrosolo, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion. He preached a biblical lesson about the Church Administration’s noble desire that the brethren be taken care of, so that they may remain active in their services to God, thereby worthy of salvation on Judgment Day.

“This is proof of the love of the Church Administration, especially that of the Executive Minister Brother Eduardo Manalo, for the brethren, even here in our place,” attested Mary Mutelu Mubanga, choir member.

Brother John Mae Manzo has been appointed as the current resident minister of the new congregation. Brethren there used to attend worship services with the Local Congregation of Great North, Lusaka.

“I’m happy that there is now a local congregation here in Kasangula,” Naomi Phiri, a deaconess, enthused. “The fast growth of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in Kasangula is truly the will of our Lord God.” — With reports from Klyde Quilaton
