Willing and driven by their concern for others, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon West, in the Philippines, gathered at the Sariaya Sports Complex for their blood donation activity on August 22, 2026.

The socio-civic activity yielded a total of 150 blood units.

Led by officers of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO), the volunteer brethren were regular and first-time donors alike. They all underwent the required health screening process, which were blood typing, blood pressure monitoring, and body mass index (BMI) reading, to ensure that they were qualified to donate.

“Donating blood is a rewarding experience to us, donors, knowing that doing so could potentially save the life of others,” said Raquel Andaya, deacon and Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) president.

“This activity has given us the opportunity to be of help to the community especially to our fellowmen, be they Church Of Christ members or not, who are in need of [blood] transfusion,” said Brother Meneleo Llaneras, district CFO overseer.
