Students and missioners in the Quezon City Ecclesiastical District held special gatherings on separate occasions held respectively on September 12 and 14, 2025 during which they received further spiritual strength and guidance in performing their Church duties as well as in leading their Christian lives and be assured of finding success through the Lord’s help.

Guiding the students
Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members currently enrolled in high school and college gathered at the house of worship of Batasan Hills 1 Congregation on September 12, 2025 wherein they received biblical guidance through the preaching of district supervising minister Brother Virgilio del Rosario Sr.

Brother del Rosario stressed on the importance of gaining knowledge which will guide them towards the attainment of their noble goals in life. They were reminded that, as students, it is vital that they remain persevering and diligent in their studies. He emphasized, however, that above all, what they should strive to gain is understanding and wisdom of God’s teachings for them to be able to uphold their divine election and be certain of receiving the promised salvation on Judgment Day and the eternal life in the Holy City.

Commonwealth High School Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) chapter chairperson Jerson Espina attested that “through the gathering, [the] students were edified in their faith and hope.” Batasan Hills 1 local congregation Binhi president Rosemarie Ponce added that “fellow young Church members were reminded to remain obedient to our parents, and most of all, to our Lord God.”

“Among the challenges which youth members of the Church face are peer pressure, academic pressure, bullying, and depression,” District CBI chairperson Cristy Valdez, shared. “Through gatherings like this, they are being spiritually uplifted, their feelings are being addressed, and they receive God’s important guidance which help them overcome their problems.”

“This gathering was held to ensure that despite the challenges which they face as they study, our brethren remain in their faithful services to our Lord God, and most of all, in being worthy of receiving the promised salvation,” stated district CFO overseer Brother Mark Gil Angeles.

Intensifying the work of propagation
On September 14, 2025, the Capitol house of worship was also filled to capacity when Brother del Rosario officiated at the special gathering of more than 4,500 brethren and Church officers, among whom some 3,800 took their oath as missioners.

In his Bible-based homily, the district supervising minister exhorted everyone in attendance to give utmost importance to helping in the intensified propagation of the pure gospel. He pointed out that taking part in this sacred work, one does not only help bringing more people to the understanding of the truth that leads to salvation, but also helps himself to become worthy of God’s promised blessings, especially salvation through Christ.

This, Brother del Rosario intimated in an interview afterwards, is the noble aim of the Church Administration: “Out of his love for the Church, our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, ably assisted by our Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, never ceases in teaching us God’s words that will guide all of us towards becoming worthy of salvation.”
