“To inspire the doctrinal instructees and prospective members to continue with their journey in joining the Church Of Christ.” This is what Brother Emmanuel Bondoc, edification overseer of the Ecclesiastical District of Caribbean, conveyed as the main objective of the special gathering that was held on April 14, 2024 for those who are undergoing the Church membership process.
From the house of worship of the Miami, Florida Congregation, the homily was livestreamed to those who gathered in the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Grand Cayman Island; West Palm Beach, Florida; Nassau, Bahamas; and Oranjestad, Aruba, which are all under the supervision of the Caribbean District.
During the homily, Brother Bondoc pointed out from the Bible why the doctrinal instructees and prospective members must continue to pursue on entering the Church Of Christ—for them to be saved on Judgment Day. For this, they must remain firm in the faith amid persecutions, according to the edification overseer.
“It was made clear to us that we need to always attend the worship services, and do what is right as the Bible teaches. Likewise, it is important that we renew our lives,” said Jhazara Gozun, doctrinal instructee from Miami Congregation. — With reports from Renee Suarez of INC News Section
