As part of the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Paruddon Congregation in the Ecclesiastical District of Cagayan West, brethren united for a Coastal Clean-up drive held along a stretch of the coastline in Bisagu, Aparri, Cagayan, Philippines on September 12, 2026.

Resident ministerial worker, Brother Bryan Carlo Hernandez, led the brethren in the said socio-civic activity.

“This activity was held as an expression of the brethren’s desire to help in maintaining the cleanliness of the coastline, protecting the natural resources, and increasing the awareness of the community in taking care of the environment,” explained Brother Hernandez.

Local Buklod president, Marlo Cacananta, shared that he was “happy upon seeing fellow brethren who are also eager in taking part in the activity which helps in taking care of the environment.” Jaimaka Viloria, choir member, and local officers records custodian (LORC), stated in another interview, “Despite being busy from working, I make sure that I still have time to unite with the activities launched by the Church Administration.”

“When this activity was conceptualized, I thought of it as a great opportunity to once again show my unity with the Church Administration,” stated Felinda Andrada, choir member, and local secretary. “Upon seeing the result of this activity, I felt proud for being one of those who took part in doing it,” she added.

On behalf of the congregation, Brother Hernandez expressed, “As this congregation reaches its 75th anniversary, we promise that we will continue doing all things for the glory of God, and that we will remain steadfast in the faith especially now that salvation is at hand.”
