“The Iglesia Ni Cristo does activities like this for we so want our fellowmen to feel the love and compassion we have for them. Most especially, this is in obedience to God’s command of loving our fellowmen,” said Brother Arnel Agorilla, supervising minister of Pampanga North Ecclesiastical District.

On February 22, 2025, an INC Giving activity organized by the district was held for residents of Bahay Pag-ibig, a residential nursing home situated in San Fernando City, Pampanga, Philippines. The Bahay Pag-ibig “aims to look after the elderly ages 60 and up who are either disabled or abandoned,” shared its staff member Ayesa Joy Albiller.

Led by the district supervising minister, ministers, ministerial workers, and Church officers first treated the senior citizens to a socializing activity, garnering the latter’s smiles and gratitude. Afterwards, the brethren handed over food packs to a total of 50 senior citizens.

“This activity of the INC helped the elderly a lot,” Albiller attested. “Thank you so much for reaching out to us here,” she added on behalf of Bahay Pag-ibig. — With assistance from Mel-Karla S. Sunga
