In line with the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Ecclesiastical District of Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro, a special gathering for local congregation secretaries and Light of Salvation (LOS) secretaries was held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Bongabong on June 20, 2026. The Church Administration sent Brother Romer D. Galang, Church Officers Overseer, to officiate at the special gathering.

After the homily, during which the faithful performance of Church duties was emphasized, 220 new officers in the Church took their oath of office with Brother Leonardo Reyes, assistant district supervising minister, leading them.

Among those who took oath was Mona Umali, deaconess from Labasan Congregation. She is a newly sworn-in Buklod district secretary. “I am very thankful for this blessing that I received from God. I promise that I will fulfill my duty whatever happens,” she said.

“This special gathering served as an inspiration for us. Through God’s words, we were reminded of the importance of our God-given duties. Because of this, I will strive to level up in performing my duty all for the glory of the Lord God,” said Allysa Galicia, secretary from San Aquilino Congregation.

“This sacred occasion is a great blessing for me and my family. The biblical advice that I received all the more edified my faith,” said Jillian Alacañeses, deaconess from Bongabong Congregation. “As a Church officer, I promise to always be united with the Church Administration. I will use the life and strength that God gives me to fulfill my duty, whatever trials that I may face in life,” she further said. — With reports from Nikko Delos Angeles
