As part of the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s humanitarian works in 2020, the Ecclesiastical Districts of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and Lingayen, Pangasinan in the Philippines conducted blood donation activities on February 1; and the Ecclesiastical District of Isabela West on February 2.
The venues were the Dingras Civic Center in Ilocos Norte, Regional Evacuation Center in Calasiao Pangasinan, and the San Rafael Multi Purpose Hall in Isabela.
During the event, health screenings were first conducted by representatives from local blood banks. Then, the qualified donors were reminded of what to do before and after donating blood.
Many brethren from different local congregations all over the said districts—led by ministers, ministerial workers, and Church officers—supported the activity. They said that their aim in participating was to express their love to their fellowmen. According to them, they will always faithfully prove their unity with the Church Administration in all the activities it launches. — With reports from INC News Section
