Brethren from various local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite welcomed the 132 new members during a “Welcome, Kapatid Ko” activity, held immediately after the latter’s baptism on May 23, 2026, at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Noveleta.

The baptismal gathering was led by Brother Eli C. Hebrew, district supervising minister. Following the study of God’s words, the baptismal candidates took their oath of membership. Afterwards, ministers of the gospel administered their baptism at the designated baptismal pools.

Among those baptized was Ricardo Domingo from the Pasong Camachile Local Congregation. Deaconess Cherry Sipat was instrumental in his conversion to the true faith. Domingo said, “I also wanted to be saved so I promised to be obedient to all of God’s commands.” Sipat added, “I firmly believed that sharing my faith with others gives glory to God. I will never stop encouraging people to join the Church.”

“What convinced me to join was the clear teachings from the Bible about the one true God, who is the Father in heaven, and the Lord Jesus Christ Whom He sent. I promise that I will continue to be steadfast in my commitment to the Church Of Christ,” Donald Heafer, from Bloomington, Illinois, one of those baptized, said.

Right after the baptismal gathering, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers congratulated their newly baptized brethren through a “Welcome, Kapatid Ko” activity. They were introduced to the respective organizations wherein they will belong.

District Light of Salvation overseer, Brother Ryan Viana led a prayer and delivered the opening remarks. He shared “Our district is fortunate for gaining God’s favor this month, as we remember the birth anniversary of His messenger in these last days, Brother Felix Y. Manalo, many were baptized in the Church. Glory be to God!”
