Upon the approval of the Church Administration, the Local Congregation of Aritao in the Ecclesiastical District of Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, set up a new group worship service (GWS) in Barangay Gabut, Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya.

The inaugural worship service of the Gabut GWS took place on August 4, 2026, 6 P.M.

Brother Randy J. Bauto, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering. In his homily, he encouraged the brethren to even more stand firm in the faith despite the persecutions that they may endure as servants of God in the Name of Christ.

The GWS’ place of worship was put up on a part of the property of Salvador Acedo, a finance officer, that he voluntarily offered for the Church to use. “I’m happy and thankful to the Lord God that our place was chosen as a venue for the GWS,” he said. “I believe that this is a great blessing from the Lord God.”

The said place of worship is 4.2 kilometers away from the house of worship of the Aritao Congregation, which supervises the new GWS.

“I am happy and thankful to the Lord God because our place of worship is now closer to us,” said Mona Pajarito, a deaconess.

“The establishment of a place of worship like this is a manifestation of the progress and growth of the Church,” explained Brother Henry Payawal, resident minister. “These group worship services are also a great help in bringing places of worship closer to the brethren.”— With assistance from Mark Anthony D.
