Church members from the Ecclesiastical Districts of United Kingdom and Manitoba in Canada took active participation in the online evangelical missions recently held in their respective districts.
On February 1, 2021, the first day of the month-long series of evangelical missions in Manitoba Ecclesiastical District, brethren from all the local congregations therein invited nonmembers to witness the exposition of the Church’s biblical teachings through videoconferencing.
Brother Sidney Santos, district supervising minister, led the study of God’s words. He taught the unique benefits of being a member of the Church Of Christ and one of them is the hope of receiving God’s promised salvation.
Many of the guests across the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, from the confines of their respective homes, were grateful to be part of the evangelistic event. Some of them expressed willingness to proceed with their membership in the Church by enlisting as Bible students.
About a week earlier than that, on January 25, 2021, KADIWA members in the Ecclesiastical District of United Kingdom, spearheaded the missionary event dubbed as Eye ‘N See online evangelical mission.
From the link they sent to their friends, colleagues, and relatives, they logged in to watch altogether some of the vlogumentary episodes uploaded on the official YouTube channel of the Christian Era Broadcasting Service International (CEBSI Inc.). Through the vlogs of Brother Philip Velasquez, minister of the gospel, guests learned how the work of salvation in various parts of the world has grown.
The evangelical mission presenting these inspiring vlogs elicited awe and amazement from the attendees, especially the nonmember guests, as they watched the presentation about God’s wondrous works that have been revealed to the Church in these last days. It also showed the positive impact that the Church has made to many people in the places where it is already established.
With hearts and minds moved and inspired, this has sparked interest in a number of guests to know more about the Church Of Christ.
To conclude the event, Brother Gerry Aliermo, a minister of the gospel, delivered a biblical message, inspiring the attendees to find true happiness in serving the true God. — With reports from INC News Section
