With God’s help, a new congregation has been established in the Ecclesiastical District of Cavite, in the Philippines—J. Apostol Congregation. Its inaugural worship service was held on August 27, 2026, which was officiated at by Brother Eli C. Hebrew, district supervising minister.

In his Bible-based homily, Brother Hebrew emphasized the importance for God’s chosen people to always attend the worship service in order to please Him and, in turn, for Him to bless them especially with salvation on Judgment Day.

“This development is aimed at bringing the place of worship closer so that they can all the more perform their Church duties in edifying their faith, as well as helping in the intensive propagation of God’s words,” explained Brother Hebrew.

After the homily, Brother Ronald Del Mundo, district auditor, administered the oath-taking of the congregation’s pioneering set of Church officers.

“The newly established congregation traces its roots as a place of worship for the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) in October 2019,” shared Brother Jemm Anunciacion, resident minister, in an interview after the worship service. “But due to the influx of more brethren in this area, it later became the J. Apostol Group Worship Service (GWS) and has now been elevated into a full-fledged local congregation.”

“Our hearts are overflowing with joy,” shared Feliciano. “We promise to continuously look after and care for the members in our newly established local congregation.”

“It is an immense help to bring the place of worship closer to our brethren,” added Ma. Elena.

The place of worship is situated in a property donated to the Church Of Christ by Feliciano Apostol Jr. and wife Ma. Elena at B47 L1 Grand Riverside Subdivision, Barangay Pasong Camachile 2, General Trias, Cavite.
