After a little over a year as an extension, the Local Congregation of LIG Condominium was formally established as a full-fledged congregation through a special worship service officiated by Brother Rene J. Panoncillo, the General Secretary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), on September 23, 2026.

The congregation began as an extension under the supervision of the Templo Central Congregation, Ecclesiastical District of Central, with Brother Diosdado F. Dades, the district supervising minister, leading its inaugural worship service as an extension on June 11, 2025. Exactly one year and three months later, it stands as a newly established local congregation.

Brother Dades, together with Brother Ruel Cervantes, the assistant district supervising minister, and other district officers, also graced the momentous occasion. Following the opening prayer led by Brother Dades, Brother Panoncillo delivered the homily. He emphasized the value of the God-given election received by the brethren, recognizing them as His own children who are assured of salvation on Judgment Day.

Brother Panoncillo reminded the brethren to remain steadfast in the faith, obedient to God’s commands, and constant in prayer, which he described as the most vital means to overcome life’s trials and strengthen the brethren’s hope of salvation.

The district secretary, Brother Sherwin Casas, called the occasion another proof of God’s abiding love. “The Almighty Father alone is the source of all our success and victories in these last days,” he attested.

Many enlisted members in this newly established local congregation are Iglesia Ni Cristo Central Office volunteer workers and families of ministers and ministerial workers according to the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, Brother Jimuel Gatchalian. “They promise to cherish this house of worship and attend worship services faithfully,” he said.

Former LIG Extension resident minister, Brother Daniel Manansala, expressed deep gratitude to the Church Administration. “The LIG Extension is now a congregation at last,” he remarked. On behalf of the brethren, he added, “We promise to remain zealous in serving God and united in all the activities of the Church.”

The head local secretary, Bryan Lenard Cadlaon, explained that the new congregation was formed from Areas 32 and 43 of Templo Central Local Congregation. “Two areas were organized to establish our congregation,” he said.

For the members, the day was clearly a blessing from God. Deaconess Josie Jubay said that having their own place of worship is “a wonderful gift, a dedicated home to praise and glorify the Lord God.”

Finance officer, Aries Ferrer, described the house of worship as a true sanctuary. “Here, I find peace and strength to keep serving God through every hardship,” he affirmed.

“Being close to homes makes it easier to share the faith and more accessible to neighbors,” said Sheena Faye Ecobisag, a local organist.

Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) congregation president, Jeremia Hontilla, echoed the joy of all. “I will serve diligently, just as our Executive Minister always reminds us,” he said.

The house of worship is located on the second floor of the Sun Star Building of LIG Condominium at 42 Central Avenue, Barangay Culiat, Quezon City, with seating capacity for 310 worshipers, an additional 60 to 70 persons may be accommodated on the first floor as an overflow area. Brother Olinad Pangilinan is the new local congregation’s first resident minister and Allen Blair Boy is the first head deacon.
