Excitement hang in the air for members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in Thailand District not only on the Church’s 112th anniversary but even until a day after. On July 28, 2026, they participated in their district-wide INC Unity Games conducted at the Pattana Sports Resort, Sri Racha, Thailand.

District supervising minister, Brother Willen D. Regalado, led the sporting activity which kicked off with the parade of colors. This was followed by the oath of sportsmanship by all players which was led by district Buklod officer, Jeffrey Sabug.

Brethren played in both indoor and outdoor games: volleyball, tug-of-war, chess, Scrabble, and Mobile Legends.

“We thank our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, and our Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, for supporting this event which fostered Christian unity and bond among brethren,” said Brother Regalado on behalf of the brethren. “We truly believe that being active in such endeavors, we are able to please the Lord God.”

The Bangkok Congregation emerged as overall champion, landing first place in men’s volleyball and scrabble, as well as in women’s chess and tug-of-war.

At second place was the tandem of the Rayong Congregation and of the Klaeng Group Worship Service (GWS), winning the top place in women’s volleyball and second place in men’s volleyball and Mobile Legends.

The Bangyai Congregation took third place overall having won in Mobile Legends and in men’s chess.

Results were based on the total points earned by each congregation in every sport’s event.

“I witnessed amazing bond among the brethren. They’re very welcoming,” said a guest by the name of Chelsea Nerisse. She also observed that when help’s needed, “they offered everything they could even though they come from various places. I’m glad I was invited in this event.”

Meanwhile, Evelyn Satunero, a choir member from the Pakchong GWS said, “I’m so happy to participate with my fellow brethren. This strengthened our bond as Christians which is God’s command to us.” — With assistance from Christian Angelo Cervantes and Sandra Costales
