Brethren from ecclesiastical districts in the continent of North America, and that in Hawaii, held their respective INC Unity Games in September 2026.

The Hawaii-Pacific District staged its INC Unity Games: Basketball Edition, at the Pearl City High School in Pearl City, Hawaii on September 6 to 7. Participants came from across Oahu, along with those from the neighboring islands of Maui, the Big Island, and Kauai.

Meanwhile, both the Saskatchewan District, Canada, and the Florida & Caribbean District conducted theirs on September 7 at the Warman Home Centre Communiplex, Warman, Saskatchewan, and Well Activity Center, 432 Marshall Lake Road, Apopka, Orlando, Florida, respectively.

In all venues, the friendly tournament started with the parade of colors, followed by the players’ taking oath of sportsmanship. They competed in basketball and volleyball, among other team sports, including board games. The winning teams and individuals were awarded with trophies and medals.

“This Unity Games is more than what is expected from just playing their favorite sports,” said Brother Garry C. Garcia, Florida & Caribbean District supervising minister. “Here, it teaches valuable lessons, like teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship that reflect our Christian values.”

“This is my first time winning. It’s pretty awesome, the brotherhood is solid, and the unity is there,” remarked Darrell Harp, a Buklod member from the Orlando Congregation, Florida. “For me, the Unity Games is about being together with the brethren, playing sports, and strengthening the brotherhood for the glory of God.”

In Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon Congregation emerged as the overall champion.

District KADIWA president, Gelrene Sanfuego, shared, “Our team conducted online meetings, planned out the program, and discussed all the specific details. But most especially, conducting devotional prayers was a big help in asking God for success.”

“We thank our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, and our Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, for allowing us to have this kind of activity,” expressed Brother Ramil H. Macaspac, Saskatchewan District supervising minister, on behalf of the brethren.

“The Church Administration approves activities like this for brethren to uphold unity and love for one another.
