Iglesia Ni Cristo Museum Recognized as another National Milestone

QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES – The Quezon City Council approved a resolution congratulating the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) for its world-class museum that showcases its history, as well as cultural and religious heritage.

“Whereas, being the largest and most modern museum in the land, the INC Museum is another milestone…” the resolution read.

The resolution also highlighted the INC Museum’s objective to serve as a major showcase of historical and cultural artifacts of the Church which can help in informing INC members and non-members of the history of God’s nation in these last days.

“Whereas, located along Central Avenue, the INC Museum is a non-profit cultural and educational institution that aims to provide members and non-members with information about the history and cultural heritage of the Iglesia Ni Cristo through arts and visual presentations,” the resolution further stated.

On August 31, 2019, representatives from different sectors, such as government, education, and business, joined a special tour of the museum. Many of the visitors expressed their admiration.

“… I’m in awe with this very important institution, a place where I think our fellow Filipinos should visit” … to “see the history not only of this religion but also the culture of our nation, how it blossomed not only here in our country but also across the globe. That is very important. And this museum is such a valuable instrument to make our fellow Filipinos all the more understand our culture.” Tonisito M.C. Umali, Department of Education Undersecretary, declared.

Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito, a former Senator, remarked: “Its beauty is astounding. I feel that I am in a different country. It is indeed a trademark of the projects built by the INC members that the buildings are well-organized and neat. … The museum is of remarkable beauty and even the museum tour was so informative that it made me understand the origin and history of the Church until it reached its present grandeur across the globe.”

Senator Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao enthused: “I think [the INC Museum] is the largest in the Philippines. You can enjoy the museum tour. You can even see a picture of me, too… This museum is truly valuable since Church memorabilia and history are preserved here.”

Vicente “Tito” Sotto, Senate President, said: “Impressive. It’s very educational… This is what we

call… World Standard. The way it is built is of outstanding quality, including the mind behind this project, so, we must be truly proud of it.”

The Museum building was inaugurated by Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on August 26, 2019.

The five story, state-of-the-art building, situated at 25 Central Avenue, Barangay New Era, Quezon City, was designed by Philippine National Artist for Architecture, Francisco ‘Bobby’ Mañosa.

All are welcome to visit. The Iglesia Ni Cristo Museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
