The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) will reach 100 years of existence and growth in Tarlac, Philippines this November 8.
To celebrate this milestone, its three ecclesiastical districts in the said province —Capas, Paniqui, Tarlac City—united in conducting an INConcert on October 19, 2025.
Months prior to this “much awaited anniversary celebration,” the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers “held coordination meetings,” according to Tarlac City, Tarlac District CFO overseer Brother Julius Marafina. “Above all, we conducted devotional prayers for this concert’s success.”
Unfazed by the rainy weather on the very day of celebration, the faithful flocked to the Tarlac Gymnatorium, filling it to capacity, to rejoice together and take delight in inspiring renditions of Christian songs that expressed not only their faith but their shared gratefulness to the Lord for His abundant blessings these past 10 decades.
Serving as the program’s keynote, the message from the Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo was read by Tarlac City, Tarlac District supervising minister Brother Bhel John Ubaldo. This was after the opening prayer led by Paniqui, Tarlac District supervising minister Brother Ronaldo Losloso.
In his message, the Executive Minister expressed his greetings to all the brethren from Tarlac on the Church’s centennial in their province and reminded them that such milestone was reached through God’s grace and loving-kindness.
Afterwards, the attendees were treated to song-and-dance performances by talents from the Iglesia Ni Cristo Production Company (INCPC) of INC original songs, such as Luha Ng Kagalakan (Tears Of Joy), Ikaw Na Aking Hinawakan Mula Sa Mga Wakas Ng Lupa (You Whom I Have Taken From The Ends Of The Earth), God’s Promise, Ang Tanging Lunas (The Only Solution), and Nananalig (Believing).
They also witnessed several audio-visual presentations highlighting the Church’s history in Tarlac and past activities of the three districts.
The first ecclesiastical district in Tarlac, covering the whole province and adopting its name, was established in 1925. It was reorganized into two separate districts—Tarlac South and Tarlac North—on April 1, 2008. As Church membership kept growing, another district was established, which is now the Capas, Tarlac District. The original Tarlac South is now the Tarlac City, Tarlac District and Tarlac North the Paniqui, Tarlac District.
The program concluded with another prayer by Brother Amor Mallari, Capas, Tarlac District supervising minister.
“Thank God for allowing the success of the Church here in Tarlac, not just in this celebration, but in all the works entrusted to us,” enthused Brother Marafina, on behalf of all Tarlaqueño brethren. “We promise that no matter what happens, we’ll serve God till the day of salvation.”
“I’m filled with so much joy to have witnessed the Church here in Tarlac turn 100 years,” expressed Capas, Tarlac District multimedia officer Mikaela Mercado of the Concepcion Congregation. “I thank God for my faith was renewed through the performances and Brother Eduardo Manalo’s message to us.”
