“We thank our Almighty God. This day, April 9, 2021, is truly a red-letter day for Church members here in the Ecclesiastical District of Alaminos City, Pangasinan, especially for those from the Local Congregation of Hundred Islands,” said the district supervising minister, Brother Rodante Elevado, in an interview after he officiated at its house of worship’s dedication worship service.
The elegant 1,200-seater house of worship is situated in Barangay Magsaysay, 2.5 kilometers from the district office and 7.2 kms. away from the famous Hundred Islands National Park.
Church members from Areas 2 to 5 of Alaminos Congregation and Area 2 of Lucap Congregation were reorganized to form a separate local congregation named after the first national park of the Philippines. It was officially established on March 4, 2021.
Brethren from the said new congregation, together with those from other congregations throughout the district, gathered for the first time in their house of worship last Saturday to thank and praise the Lord God as they witnessed its solemn consecration to Him.
Recognizing the Church leadership’s instrumentality for this blessing from God, Brother Julius Recosana, head deacon, said, “Thank you so much to our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, for this wonderful gift to our district and to our congregation.” — With reports from INC News Section
