Acknowledging the Lord God’s safekeeping through nine decades, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Local Congregation of Hagonoy, Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan West, attended a special worship service held on March 27, 2026 in commemoration of their congregation’s 90th anniversary.

Brother Arnel A. Tumanan, the Church’s Edification Overseer, was sent by the Church Administration to officiate the sacred occasion. Brother Librado V. Santos, Bulacan West District supervising minister, led the opening prayer before the preaching of God’s words.

Brother Tumanan delivered a biblical lesson highlighting the importance of remaining steadfast members of the Church Of Christ despite the hardships in life. He reminded them to uphold their zeal, continue glorifying God by, among others, always worshiping Him, to be worthy to receive salvation on Judgment Day.

“I’m very happy because at my age, I was able to witness our local congregation reach its 90th anniversary,” said 83-year-old Nenita Alba, a deaconess. “I thank the Church Administration and, above all, our Lord God.”

“I’m happy to be here, united with celebrating 90 years of our local congregation,” shared Bernarda Roque, a choir leader. “May God continue to help and guide our congregation to more successes.”

“The brethren’s eagerness was evident,” attested Brother Francis Rey Prado, resident ministerial worker. “We’re so enthusiastic that we even held nightly devotional prayers as part of preparing for this holy occasion. With God’s help, it brought great inspiration to everyone in attendance.” — With assistance from Jhoy Castillo
