With the approval from the Church Administration, a group worship service (GWS) formally opened in Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Canada on June 7, 2026.

Hundreds of brethren from across the Ecclesiastical District of Saskatchewan attended the inaugural worship service of the Kindersley GWS held at the Kindersley Central Event Centre, 500 2nd Street East, Kindersley.

Brother Ramil H. Macaspac, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion. In his Bible-based homily, he emphasized how the youth of the Church can succeed in this life by anchoring their ambitions securely in God’s commands such as devotion to the worship services.

Before the worship service proper, before leading the preparatory prayer of the performing officers, Brother Matthew Carter, district Church officers overseer, administered the oath-taking of the new GWS’ overseer, head secretary, Buklod leader, and Technical Support for Videostreaming (TSV) officer.

Members of the Kindersly GWS used to travel 232 kilometers for over two hours to attend worship services with the Local Congregation of Swift Current. To help resolve this, Nickloid and Jeanette Mesalucha volunteered to have their residence along 35 West Road, Kindersley, Saskatchewan to be used as a place of worship. The Kindersley brethren’s request regarding this was approved by the Church Administration on May 24, 2026.

“Traveling over long distances with a family each week was a major challenge, especially during harsh winter road conditions,” a would-be member, Annalie Dacay, said. “I’m thankful for having a GWS near us. This is an answered prayer.”
