After 11 months of construction, the house of worship of the Garcia Congregation, Lingayen, Pangasinan District was completed and dedicated to the Lord God during a worship service on June 12, 2026.
Brother Franklin G. Villamar, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy gathering during which he taught a biblical lesson on how members of the Church can overcome the challenges they face today. He reminded them that they must cling to God’s words that they receive during their worship services, which further emphasizes the importance of the house of worship.
Located at Sitio Garcia, Barangay Ambuetel, Calasiao, Pangasinan, the new 180-seater house of worship is furnished with a Johannus organ, CCTV system, and essential equipment for live video streaming. Adjacent to it is a building for parsonage and offices.
“The house of worship plays a central role for members of the Church,” Brother Villamar said in an interview after the gathering. “It is where they gather and render their worship to God. It is here that the faithful confide with Him through their devotional prayers. For this, the Church Administration continues the work of building places of worship in obedience to God’s command.”
Eufemia Sison, 86, a pioneer member in Garcia said, “I thank and praise God for granting us this great blessing. Seeing this place of worship really made me so happy. I’ve become more inspired in devoting my life to serve Him to the end.” — With assistance from Jilbert Sevilla and Mau Vallo
