A Family Fun Day aimed at further solidifying the bond among brethren, especially family members, was held by the Ecclesiastical District of Benguet, in the Philippines, on September 13, 2025 at the Baguio Athletic Bowl, Baguio City. District supervising minister Brother Ardy D. Mendoza led this activity.

The activity opened with the participants forming a human monogram as a greeting for the 16th anniversary of the God-inspired leadership of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo as the Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

In an interview, Brother Mendoza said, “We are one with the whole Church in thanking the Lord God for appointing our Executive Minister who truly cares for our welfare. This activity is in consonance with the biblical teaching that the faithful should be solid in their unity with the Church Administration in obeying God’s commands.”

After the monogram, attendees participated in friendly games of family sack race, t-shirt relay, lava flow race, among others, enabling families to share light moments. Officers from the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) performed song-and-dance numbers, all the more elating the attendees.

“Being here, my family has further solidified our bond. I believe that it is important for the Christian family to be closely knit especially when it comes to obeying the Lord God. This activity bolstered our faith as a household,” said district Buklod president Don Adril Rivera and a head deacon in the Local Congregation of Lourdes.

Tokens of appreciation were given to participating households while prizes to hailed winners of the fun games. — With assistance from Henry Caranto
