With the aim to help their fellowmen who are in need of blood for medical emergencies, Fairview Congregation in Quezon City Ecclesiastical District hosted a blood donation event on September 14, 2024. It was held at the convention center of the United North Fairview Homeowners Association Inc., in Novaliches, Quezon City.

The said socio-civic activity was facilitated by the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) in partnership with the Philippine Heart Center.

A number of nonmember volunteers joined  Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members who took part in the said activity. Among the nonmember donors was Lovely Aniñon, who was amazed seeing “how Church Of Christ members are united even in an endeavor to help their fellowmen.”

“By doing all the necessary preparations, we made sure that we will be able to extend our compassion to more of our fellowmen,” Paul Bobares, Buklod vice president of the said congregation, shared.

Brother Dennis Dinogan, resident minister, expressed that “the said activity not only has demonstrated how the brethren were and are willing to help their fellowmen, but has also manifested their constant unity with the Church Administration in the various works that please our Almighty God.” — With reports from Elizer Felix Hebrew and Anne Kimberly Baldos
