Reaching its 10th anniversary in March 2026, the Ecclesiastical District of Micronesia celebrated the said milestone via a photo exhibit and interactive booths mounted at LeoPalace Resort in Guam on March 30, 2026.
The day’s program commenced with district edification overseer Brother Mark Crelencia leading a prayer. Then, district supervising minister Brother Joven Sepillo Jr. read the message of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) Executive Minister, greeting the brethren for the said anniversary. Afterwards, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Brother Sepillo, together with Brother Julius Malabanan, the assistant district supervising minister.
Organized by the district’s Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, the curated photo exhibit showcased the district’s ten-year journey. Through chronological displays, documented milestones, and notable historical images, the brethren reflected on how the work of the Church across the region has flourished under the guidance of the Church Administration.
The exhibit also underscored the district’s steady development—from its early beginnings to the strong and vibrant communities of faith now present throughout Guam, Saipan, and the outer islands.
“The photo exhibit reminded me of many core memories,” shared Laurence De Leon, Mangilao, Guam Congregation’s Children’s Worship Service (CWS) chairperson. “I remembered the day our house of worship was inaugurated, my CWS days, and those days when my friends and I would participate in different CFO activities,” he added.
Complementing the historical displays were interactive booths designed for brethren of all ages. These stations featured educational activities, multimedia presentations, quizzes, and hands-on experiences that strengthened camaraderie and encouraged continued participation in Church endeavors.
The activity concluded with assistant district supervising minister Brother Julius Malabanan delivering the closing remarks, followed by a prayer by district CFO overseer Brother Christopher Valdez.
