When the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) reached its 112th anniversary, ecclesiastical districts in various parts of the world welcomed thousands of new members through baptismal gatherings. These were held on days prior, after, and on the very day of the anniversary, July 27, 2026.

Philippines

In the Philippines, some of the districts that held baptismal gatherings on days prior to the Church anniversary were Batangas and Central, both in Luzon, on July 24, respectively; Marikina and Metro Manila East, also in Luzon, on July 25, as well as Agusan del Norte and Cotabato North in Mindanao; Capiz in Visayas and Quirino in Luzon on July 26.

Albay and Cagayan East, both in Luzon, held their baptisms on July 27, the exact day of the Church’s 112th anniversary.

Completing the month on July 31 were Buug, Zamboanga del Sur in Mindanao, Cebu City, Cebu in Visayas, Mindoro Oriental and Rodriguez in Luzon.

“What made me decide to join the Church Of Christ are the biblical truths it upholds, such as about the true nature of God Who is a spirit, and Christ Who is a Man, and that they are distinct from one another,” shared newly baptized member Regine Saganay, a former preacher and song leader of a Christian sect from Balabag Congregation, Cotabato North District. “I hope that people will also listen to the teachings taught in the Church before jumping into conclusions, as there are many religions out there that do not teach the full truth.”

“We will continue helping others know the truth in the Church for this is our duty for God’s glory,” enthused Roy Polipol, a head deacon from the Aparri Congregation, Cagayan East District.

Abroad

More people were converted into the Church from across the islands in the Pacific region when Micronesia District held a series of baptisms: Koror, Palau’s house of worship (July 18); Saipan, CNMI (July 24); Guam (July 27); and Pohnpei, FSM (July 31).

Likewise, series was held in Hawaii-Pacific District, at the islands of Oahu and Maui, Kauai, and Big Island on July 19, 21, and 24, respectively.

British Columbia District held its baptismal gathering on July 27, New York District on July 31. In Italy South District, baptisms were administered at two venues: the Firenze and Rome congregations’ houses of worship on July 18 and 27, respectively.

“All the brethren rejoice, for we know and firmly believe that whenever people are added to the Church, it marks another success granted by our Lord God to His people in these last days,” enthused Italy South District Light of Salvation overseer, Brother Ronaldo Flor.

“I have been waiting for this moment for a long time and after much study and learning the doctrines, I finally reached this truly blessed day,” expressed Daniel Lorenz Tenorio, newly baptized member from the Roma Est Congregation. “One of the significant realizations for me is that the words taught to me are true being written in the Bible.”
