“Happiness. Now that I’m a member of the Church of Christ, I don’t think there are other words for me to describe how it feels. To me, it feels complete for my life,” said Pashoua Her from Anchorage Congregation, one of the newly baptized.

Pashoua Her was among those who were baptized from the Ecclesiastical District of Alaska at the Anchorage Congregation’s house of worship on March 21, 2025.

District supervising minister Brother Astrophel Caraig officiated at the said gathering. He reiterated to the baptismal candidates through the words of God written in the Bible that they should never let go of their obedience to the Lord God. Doing so, they prove that their faith and loyalty is completely in Him.

“There’s something so fulfilling about helping others find the same peace and joy I’ve found,” said choir member Aires Natividad of Anchorage Congregation. She detailed: “For me, it’s about giving what I’ve been given. I’m deeply passionate about sharing what I believe in because I know what it’s like to be loved by God, and I want others to experience the same.” Aires was the one who invited Pashoua to listen to the biblical teachings upheld in the Church Of Christ.

“The success that our ecclesiastical district reaps was made possible through our Almighty God’s help. He listens to our devotional prayers and truly considers the efforts and sacrifices of our brethren,” said district Light of Salvation overseer Brother Francis Ian Indiongco.

After the baptism, a Welcome, My Brethren activity was held. — With assistance from Jan Michael Deato
