Eager in sharing their faith with their fellowmen, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Darangan, in the Ecclesiastical District of Rizal East invited guests to an evangelical mission at their house of worship on April 6, 2026, officiated at by Brother Arnel P. Macatangay, district supervising minister.

Citing verses from the Bible, Brother Macatangay pointed out that because of the sins that they commit, people are bound to be punished by God on Judgment Day. For people to be spared from God’s wrath on that day, they ought to understand the importance of repenting and turning away from their sins. Brother Macatangay highlighted the biblical truth that man, by himself, cannot be forgiven of his sins, lest he follows the command to enter the Church built by the Lord Jesus Christ—the Church Of Christ—which He redeemed with His precious blood.

Eugene Beladera, one of the guests, shared that from the lesson taught, he understood that “one who aspires to be saved from God’s punishment must not ignore His warning to those who continue living in sin.”

Meanwhile, guest Janelle Pendo, stated, “It is not sufficient that a person knows what God wants him to do. What God expects is that people obey His commands for them to become worthy of receiving His blessings.” – With reports from Frisco Marquez
