Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Philippine province of Catanduanes brought with them a total of 981 guests to their evangelical mission, filling the Catanduanes State University Gym in Virac town, on May 13, 2025.

The district-wide evangelical mission featured two segments. In the first one, assistant district supervising minister Brother Nestor Fernandez debunked the so-called doctrine of the Trinity, proving it as unscriptural. He then quoted Bible verses that introduced who the one true God is—the Father in heaven—whom the true Church Of Christ recognizes and worships.

Brother Danilo Culipano, the district supervising minister, led the latter part of the Bible study during which he answered a number of frequently asked questions regarding the basic teachings upheld by the Iglesia Ni Cristo, proving their scriptural soundness and veracity.

As part of their preparation, Church officers and brethren from the 24 local congregations, 3 extensions, and 4 group worship services said devotional prayers in their respective houses of worship to seek God’s help

Also, by way of invitation, they distributed “copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine and religious pamphlets to residents of respective communities,” according to the district Church officers overseer Brother Junnel Leonardo.

“With God’s mercy and help, I was able to bring many guests to the evangelical mission,” said deaconess Consuelo Espino from the Local Congregation of Viga.

Among the guests whom she brought along was Anabel Espinosa, who said, “What the minister preached came from the Bible. And so, I clearly received the words of God. My husband and I admired the teachings.”

“The brethren welcomed me nicely and ushered me at the women’s seats. I liked listening to the teachings taught, being quoted directly from the Bible,” said Andrea Firmanes, a guest of the Mayngaway Congregation.

Happy to share with her the faith, Mila Borre who invited her, said, “I prayed to God that she may also join the Church so that she too may have the hope of receiving salvation.”

Regarding the brethren’s zeal of sharing the true faith to others, Brother Fernandez said, “It is in obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ’s command to love our fellowmen. Most especially, it is the will of the Almighty Father that all people must come to know the truth they ought to obey for them to receive salvation on the Day of Judgment.” — With reports from Lace Rodriguez of INC News Section
