Commemorating the 55th anniversary of their congregation’s establishment, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Capitol, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon City, held an evangelical mission on April 20, 2026. More than 2,000 guests attended.

The Church Administration sent Brother Arnel A. Tumanan, Church Edification Overseer, to officiate at the evangelistic gathering. He pointed out from the Holy Scriptures that man ought to prioritize seeking the words of God that will bring him toward salvation. He then emphasized that although it is right that man has faith in God, but that faith must be coupled with works. He cited that among the works that must be done is being gathered in Christ by entering His Church—the Church Of Christ.

“I am joyful for being able to clearly receive the words of God,” Myra Ramos, guest, expressed. With her was fellow government employee Imelda Lagat who was thankful for she “felt the concern of the Church members who eagerly invited us to hear God’s teachings.”

Meanwhile, Alyzza Apuhin, guest, shared, “I learned that more than any material gains, one must pursue to know and obey God’s commands.”

“This activity was held in fulfillment of God’s will to make more people come to know the truth which will lead them towards the attainment of the promised salvation,” explained Brother Willy Arjay Soriano, resident minister.

“As the brethren in this congregation thank our Almighty God for its 55 blessed years, they never forget to do their part, one of which is to share their faith to more people,” stated Brother Virgilio A.
