In celebration of its tenth anniversary on August 15, 2026, the Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac held a Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Family Fun Day exactly a week after.

The activity, which took place at the Capas Event Center featured various interactive games, photo booths, and performances of original Iglesia Ni Cristo music, giving brethren of all ages an opportunity to spend quality time with their families and fellow members.

Among those who participated was the Cayanan family from the Local Congregation of Navy. They took part in the various games and activities prepared for the event.

“We are very happy to have opportunities like this as a family in the Church,” said Jerryco Cayanan Sr., a deacon and the head of the family. “It gives us time to be together and helps strengthen our family. We set aside our other activities to attend, and we truly enjoyed participating and playing together.”

The activity also gave younger brethren an opportunity to strengthen their friendships and meet fellow Church members from other congregations.

“We were happy to be here with our friends,” said Janneo Rafael Sicat from the Capas Congregation. “We especially enjoyed the PNK Trivia Booth because we worked together to answer the challenging questions.”

Yumie Basillio from the Castillo Congregation likewise expressed her enjoyment of the activity, particularly the opportunity to meet new people. “I met many new friends and enjoyed visiting the different booths,” she said. “It was such an enjoyable experience that I would love to join again.”

Brother Jessie Pingol Jr., district Light of Salvation overseer, highlighted the value of activities that bring Church families together. “They give families an opportunity to spend quality time together and bring happiness to the brethren,” he said. — With reports from district multimedia
