The new year is hit with the new variant of the pandemic virus. Doing their part to be of help to those who need it, Church Of Christ members from the Local Congregation of Malinta, Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA conducted a blood donation drive at the Barangay Malinta Covered Court, Valenzuela City, Philippines on January 7, 2021.
The resident minister, Brother Ernani Lacsina, together with fellow ministers and ministerial workers spearheaded the activity.
Eager to qualify as donors, the brethren prepared for the occasion. Danilo Pangulayan, said, “I slept early yesterday. I did not exhaust myself as well. With God’s help, I qualified to become a donor.”
The doctors and nurses expressed their gratitude. Dr. Robert Reyes, officer for Pathology and Laboratory Division of the Veterans Medical Center, said, “The most important advantage of donating blood is we are able to help those in need of blood. Thank you so much to our brothers and sisters from the Iglesia Ni Cristo for your never-ending support to our programs, such as the blood drives.” — With reports from INC News Section
