Following the approval of the Church Administration, the Local Congregation of Bugnay in the Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines dedicated to the Lord God its new house of worship on March 12, 2021.
“It is a great blessing for us to have a beautiful house of worship that in spite of the hardship and worries in life, we can go here to worship and pray to our Lord God,” Rey Gatoc, the congregation’s head deacon, said.
Brother Dante Mujar, district supervising minister, officiated at the special worship service for the dedication. In the lesson he preached based on God’s words, he reminded the brethren that it is His will to take care of the house of worship where He pours out His spiritual graces to His servants who worship Him.
“The house of worship is truly important because this is the house of God, where His true servants conduct their worship and prayers to Him, which is why God commanded this to be built,” Brother Mujar said.
“We will all the more dedicate ourselves in serving our Lord God and we will take care of this house of worship for in here we shall continue to glorify and worship God,” Helen Vergara, choir leader, promised.
On behalf of the brethren, Brother Jay-ar Solano, resident ministerial worker, expressed, “We wholeheartedly thank God for using the Church Administration to care for the spiritual welfare of Church members one of which is the construction of this new house of worship.” — With reports from INC News Section
