In line with the theme for the 112th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), “Stand Firm In The Faith, Our Salvation Is At Hand,” Brisbane Congregation, Queensland, Australia District, mounted a stage play on September 20, 2026 at the Performing Arts Centre, Marsden State High School. It was attended by brethren in the said local congregation.

Titled ‘Heroes of Faith,’ the said production introduced to the audience biblical characters such as Noah, Joseph the Dreamer, Joshua, Elijah, Samson, Gideon, Daniel, and David. Integrated into the play were depictions of some the prophesies concerning God’s Messenger in the last days, Brother Felix Y. Manalo.

Brethren from the Buklod, KADIWA, Binhi and even from the Childrens’s Worship Service (CWS) were the casts in the said play. Resident ministerial worker, Brother Miguel Carlo Ricafrente, spearheaded the preparation of the program.

“This activity is important because it helps remind us of the faith, courage, obedience, and perseverance shown by faithful servants of God in the Bible. Through this stage presentation, we are able to learn valuable lessons that guide us in serving God,” Brother Ricafrente said,

Brother Orlando C. Macayan, district supervising minister, who was also present in the activity, said in an interview afterwards that “becoming firm in the faith is vital today so that nothing can distract or weaken one’s resolve in serving God. As the Church Administration teaches us, to be worthy of salvation, we should remain true in the faith by means of remaining obedient to God.”

Brother Ricafrente added, “This production brought inspiration to the attendees, especially the younger generation. They are all the more encouraged to value the teachings of the Bible that were taught to us by God’s Messenger in these last days, the same teachings that our beloved Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, continues to convey to us.” — With assistance from Mark Reniel Kiseo
