The 112th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) on July 27, 2026 became doubly special for a group of prospective members in the Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia, Canada, as they were baptized on the same day.

Held at the house of worship of the Surrey Congregation, the sacred gathering was led by Brother Glendo Baitan, district supervising minister. During the study of God’s words, Brother Baitan urged the would-be Church members to put their faith into practice, safeguard their God-given election, and hold firmly to their hope of salvation until the end.

Rajeev Kumar, one of the newly baptized members from the Burnaby Congregation, vowed to remain firm in his faith, saying, “The teachings that I received are the truth because they all came from the Bible.”

Another newly baptized member, Karlos Narciso from the Richmond Congregation, thanked God for reaching the long-awaited day of his baptism, saying, “Now I can feel that I have a true connection with the Lord God.”

Brother Romeo Maglaya, assistant district supervising minister, expressed, “We thank our Lord God for bringing victories in our district. We will continue to bear more fruits and intensify the works of propagation.”— With reports from Edward Lemuel Castro
