As the result of the continuous intensive work of propagation in the Ecclesiastical District of Calamian, in the Philippines, more people embraced the true faith. A number of them recently received baptism on June 27, 2026 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Coron.

Brother Enrico Chico, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal gathering. After the homily, the baptismal candidates took their oath of membership led by Brother Dexter Umali, district Church officers overseer. Then, they received the actual baptism by immersion in water administered by Brother Robinson Castil and Emerson Vasquez, ministers of the gospel assigned at Coron Congregation.

Among those baptized was Ma. Nenita Dela Torre, a former Jehovah’s Witnesses member. “I’m overwhelmed with joy because I’ve reached the day of my baptism. I thank the Lord God for helping me overcome all hindrances that I have encountered,” she said.

Gloria Dadale, a former Born again member, shared: “My journey to becoming a member of the Church Of Christ was not easy because of persecution. But with the help of God, I was able to continue on. In this Church, I have received the true teachings and become rooted in the genuine faith.”

“I have witnessed how fervent her desire to join the Church is. She firmly believes in the biblical teachings she received,” said Brother Castil, the minister who taught Dadale the fundamental teachings of the Church. — With reports from Jed Ceder Dosdos
