The Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan South conducted a blood donation drive, in collaboration with the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC), on September 26, 2026.
Held at the Compact Covered Court in Barangay Pandayan, Meycauayan, Bulacan, this socio-civic activity was instrumental in collecting more than 200 blood bags for the benefit of PCMC’s patients.
The drive commenced at 8:00 AM with a total of 350 volunteers lined up to participate.
Members of the Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) assisted the PCMC medical team in the health screening, while the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) members managed communications and vehicular traffic around the venue, ensuring orderliness throughout the event.
“My husband and I are very happy to participate in the activities launched by the Church Administration,” said Rovelyn Niemes, deaconess from the Gumafelix Extension of the Sta. Rosa Congregation. “Even in this simple way, we are able to extend help to our fellow citizens and to our brethren inside the Church.”
“Regular participation in blood donations directly benefits my physical health and well-being,” shared Jose Dante, Rovelyn’s husband.
Bulacan South District supervising minister, Brother Eufracio B. Castillo Jr., who also volunteered donating blood, explained, “This is part of our commitment to our Lord God. We wholeheartedly unite with these activities because helping our fellowmen is God’s command not only to show kindness to people but also for His glory.”
