The newly established Tiniwisan Group Worship Service (GWS) held its inaugural worship service on September 23, 2026, following the approval of the Church Administration. The place of worship serves brethren in Brgy. Tiniwisan, Butuan City, Agusan del Norte, Philippines.
“I am so grateful that the Lord God has answered our prayers by granting us a place of worship nearby. We no longer have to travel far, especially to attend worship services,” said Dominggo Akyatan, GWS safety officer overseer.
Prior to the establishment of the GWS, brethren there had to attend worship services at the Local Congregation of Lemon.
The inaugural worship service was officiated by Brother Nicanor Bernardo Jr., district supervising minister. Through the Bible, he reminded the brethren that since they belong to God’s chosen people in these last days, salvation is promised to them. For this reason, it is only right for them to fight for their faith and do the things that please the Lord.
“Before the establishment of the GWS, we had to travel six kilometers to the Lemon Congregation. So we had to consider transportation expenses. Having a GWS closer to our community is a great blessing,” expressed Primaliza Azote, deaconess.
“On behalf of all the brethren here in Tiniwisan GWS, we thank the Lord God for bringing the house of worship closer to the brethren through the Church Administration,” stated Brother Ariel Celiz, the resident ministerial worker of the Lemon Congregation.—With reports from Michael Calo
