Brethren from the Local Congregation of Macalelon, Ecclesiastical District of Quezon South, Philippines, were overjoyed and thankful as their newly renovated house of worship was rededicated to the Lord God through a worship service on September 4, 2026.

The Church Administration sent Brother Arnel A. Tumanan, Church’s Edification Overseer, to officiate at the rededication worship service. In his Bible-based homily, he emphasized the significance of the house of worship in the lives of God’s true servants.  

“Our newly renovated house of worship is beautiful and modern,” attested Efren Parto, head deacon. “The house of worship is really important for us members of the Church Of Christ. It is the place where we can pray to God to ask for His help and guidance. It is where we conduct our worship gatherings that give us strength and inspiration.”

“The brethren were overwhelmed with joy when they knew that the house of worship will be renovated. It is God’s answer to their prayers. It inspires them to be zealous even more in participating in the different activities of the Church,” said Brother Albert Balagtas, resident ministerial worker.

The 250-seater house of worship is situated at Brgy. Pinagbayanan, Macalelon, Quezon. Undergoing major renovations, such as its repainting, it was also equipped with new chairs, floors, lights, ceiling fans, Johannus organ, among others. A state-of-the-art sound system and a CCTV system were also installed.

On behalf of the brethren, Brother Balagtas added, “We will do our best to safeguard and take care of the house of worship and maintain its cleanliness and beauty.”
