“I thank the Lord God for using the Church Administration so that we can participate in activities such as this, in which I was able to bond with my fellow Binhi brethren. This truly helps foster not only our unity but also our love of brotherhood,” said Jazmin Matusalem, a district Binhi president from Bataraza Congregation.
On August 29, 2026, the Ecclesiastical District of Palawan South hosted the Binhi Friendship Day. It was held at the Narra Gymnasium in Barangay Poblacion, Narra, Palawan, Philippines.
During the event, the young members actively participated in the interactive activities facilitated by the Binhi district leadership. They joined games such as tug-of-war, the hands-and-feet hopscotch challenge, and the basketball pong challenge.
The event also served as an opportunity to remind the youth of the importance of choosing friends who will help bring them closer to God.
Brother Emmanuel Pojas, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, advised them to “stay away from evil friends who influence them to do things that are contrary to God’s will, and instead choose friends who will encourage them to do things that please God.”
“I am very happy to have participated in this activity because I was able to build rapport with my fellow youth. It’s not only memorable. It also is inspiring,” expressed Chrisjane Torno, Binhi president from the Local Congregation of Plaridel.–With reports from Jhoan Almojera
