In the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan South, the young members participated in an activity aimed at strengthening their camaraderie and the adults at helping those in need.
On August 11, 2026, KADIWA and Buklod members gathered at the Kaohsiung Blood Center in Sanmin Village, Fengshan District, Kaohsiung City, to participate in a blood donation drive. Through their act of volunteerism, the members donated a total of 30 bags of blood to the Center.
“I was inspired to become a blood donor because I wanted to help people and possibly save lives,” said Jason Flores, one of the head deacons of the Kaohsiung City Congregation.
Another Church officer from the same congregation, Jermin Lata, an assistant TSV lead, said, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to donate blood because it is a simple way for us to help people who may be going through difficult times.”
Three days later, on August 14, Binhi members enjoyed various fun-filled games at the Kaohsiung City Congregation function hall.
The participants played a “Pass the Message” game which tested their listening and communication skills while fostering teamwork. They also took part in a chopstick relay, putting their coordination, teamwork, and speed to the test in a fun and engaging activity.
Brother Jake Torio, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, thanked the Church Administration “for launching such activities that keep the brethren united in helping others and strengthening their faith.” — With reports from district multimedia
