The Ecclesiastical District of Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, in the Philippines, spearheaded a district-wide blood donation activity on August 8, 2026. Held at the Liga Building in Laoac, Pangasinan, this socio-civic activity was made possible in partnership with Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC), the beneficiary-institution.

The humanitarian event yielded a total of 106 blood units.

“I’m truly joyful for I was able to donate blood,” said Arsenio Ferrer. “By taking part in this activity, I’ll be able to help not only our brethren but also other people who are in need of blood [transfusion].”

Brother Dante N. Parco, district supervising minister, oversaw the activity.

The district is one of five that oversee congregations in Pangasinan province.–With assistance from Gamaliel Sibuma
