Households of brethren in the Local Congregation of Tandag City, Ecclesiastical District of Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, gathered for Family Fun Day. The activity was held at the covered court of Barangay Telaje, Tandag City on July 26, 2026.

“This activity is part of our congregation’s celebration of the 112th anniversary of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ). This is meant to strengthen the bond among family members, and maintain their fervor in serving God,” explained Brother Laverny Mallo, resident minister.

Included in the event were various individual and group games which members of every family participated in, and performances featuring INC Original Music.  Activity booths were also put up by local Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers for the attendees.

“I am very happy upon seeing members of my family joining in various parts of the event,” expressed Meranova Gardigo, deaconess, who, with her husband and children, “participated in the activity which truly helps strengthen our faith and bond as a family.”

“I strive to guide my children to take part in every activity launched by the Church Administration for by doing so, they are being molded towards becoming faithful and active members of the Church who understand the importance of always giving glory to God.” Verlina Delos Santos, deaconess, shared.

According to Daniel Lequillo, a head deacon, “many brethren and their families were able to take part and truly enjoyed throughout the day.” —With reports from Sir Jones De Jesus
