“Being reminded of our vital role for the future of the Church by nurturing the youth,” said Steffany Tolentino, CWS officer from the Local Congregation of Culis, “inspires us, CWS officers, to stay strong in the faith.”
Such was the impact of the special gathering that the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan, Philippines, held for Children’s Worship Service (CWS) officers, attended by their parents too, at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Dinalupihan on July 11, 2026.
Brother Roderick C. Chulvo, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred occasion. “The Church Administration hopes that the CWS officers be prepared for the future and so they are taught to be Church officers who please God. Being so makes them certain of receiving the promised salvation,” he said in an interview afterwards.
“CWS officers are taught to further edify in the faith the children in the Iglesia Ni Cristo especially now that there are negative influences in this world,” Brother Chulvo explained as he preached a biblical lesson to the congregants about the importance of safeguarding their faith.
“This gathering is a boost for the CWS officers, especially when it comes to always having the inspiration to work with their fellow CWS members, remaining active in their duties,” said Jesmer Ochoa, Buklod member from the Culis Congregation.
On behalf of fellow CWS officers from the same congregation, Arvin Jay Adriano, CWS teacher, said that “we will continue helping in caring for our brethren in the CWS.” — With assistance from Heyrem Manansala
