Upon approval of the Church Administration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), the new house of worship of the Local Congregation of San Rafael in the Ecclesiastical District of Albay was dedicated to the Lord God on July 3, 2026.

Brother Ruel R. Reyes, district supervising minister, officiated at the dedication worship service. In his Bible-based homily, he emphasized that aside from having been gifted with a new house of worship, the brethren owe it to the Lord God to serve Him faithfully being among His creation and called by Him to be in the true Church Of Christ.

The 70-seater house of worship is located on Burias Island, a major island in the province of Masbate, Philippines, approximately 151 kilometers from the district office in Albay. It is equipped with a CCTV system, a Johannus organ, and other necessary facilities.

“The brethren clearly see how the offerings in the Church are utilized, particularly in the construction of houses of worship. We firmly believe that building houses of worship is of great importance, as these provide a fitting place where God’s people can gather to worship Him and receive His teachings,” said Brother Ronald Arit, district treasurer.

“We are thankful to our Almighty God because He has blessed us with a beautiful house of worship through His instrumentality of the Church Administration,” enthused Roque Postrero, one of the attendees.

“On behalf of the brethren, we promise to cherish and take good care of this house of worship that has been entrusted to us. We will become even more devoted in rendering our services to God, more fervent in our faith, and more united in all the activities of the Church,” expressed Brother John Ray Casano, resident ministerial worker.
