More than three weeks after reaching its second anniversary on June 3, 2026, the Ecclesiastical District of Queensland, Australia held a baptismal gathering on June 26, still part of the commemoration of the occasion.

Streamed live at Gladstone Congregation, the event was held at the house of worship of Brisbane Congregation with Brother Orlando Macayan, district supervising minister, officiating.

In his preaching of God’s words, he highlighted how blessed the would-be members are because, through their baptism, they would be included among Christ’s true disciples who have the hope of being saved on the nearing Judgment Day. In order for these spiritual blessings not to be wasted, Brother Macayan emphasized the importance of remaining steadfast in the faith, and obedient to all of God’s commandments no matter what happens in their lives.

“I felt very thankful, blessed, and at peace,” Mark Jake Pobre, newly baptized member from Gold Coast Congregation, expressed. “I felt renewed and strengthened in the faith, and I am truly grateful for God’s mercy for I have become a full-fledged member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).”

“Despite having busy schedules in order to sustain the needs of their families, the brethren truly strive to take part in the works of propagation. They never forget their duty to share the faith and bear fruit,” shared Brother Edmark Velasco, district Light Of Salvation overseer. “We promise the Church Administration that we will always remain dedicated and committed to the intensive works of propagation.” — With reports from Jacqueline Lay
